• Private Party has been one of the original teams in AEW, and they remain a fan favorite. At AEW WrestleDream 2024, they had an exciting match against The Young Bucks for the AEW World Tag Team Championship.

Despite coming close several times and receiving strong support from the crowd, Private Party ultimately fell short, and The Young Bucks retained their titles, extending their reign beyond 171 days.

According to Fightful Select, there was significant backstage support for Private Party to win the match and capture their first AEW titles since debuting 5 years ago.

Their storyline focused on proving themselves after an early win over The Young Bucks didn’t elevate them to stardom. However, the final decision was to keep the belts with The Young Bucks, despite the push for Private Party.

Young Bucks saw this report on X and replied:

“That doesn’t work for us, brother.”
