• Drew Gulak Comments On Triple H Getting Control Of 205 Live

During a recent appearance on Sean Waltman’s “X-Pac 12360”, Drew Gulak talked about whose creation his character is, if his promos are written for him, Triple H taking over 205 live, who he wants to see in WWE, and if Ricochet is doing well.

Below are the highlights:

On who created his character:

“It’s all me. I mean, I definitely turn it up for the show and stuff like that but it’s been cool being in WWE. It’s a collaborative process here. Because there are so many different people you know in creative positions, but they’ve been really receptive to working with our ideas and getting the most out of that.”

On if his promos are written for him:

“They are mostly written for me, but we are given freedom to manipulate them or make it sound more natural. A lot of guys will come in here and they’ll just see what’s written on the paper and go, ‘Ah, I can’t do this.’ And they’ll go out there and do their own thing or they’ll have it rewritten for them. I try to do my best with what I’m handed… If something doesn’t connect I’ll speak up or if something doesn’t’ look right I have no problem mentioning it.”

On Triple H taking over 205 live:

“I think originally it was his (Triple H) concept coming out of the Cruiserweight Classic. It was very much Triple H’s idea to bring in a Cruiserweight division and build this brand up. And as soon as we came over, Vince was like ‘hey this is great, let’s run with it,’ and he kinda took the ball and ran with it. Up until the last couple weeks, they basically went to the idea of basically having a tournament again to rechristen the new Cruiserweight Champion. That’s pretty much been under the guide of Triple H.”

On if Ricochet is doing well:

“He’s doing great! He’s enjoying it very much.”

• Fan Begins Petition For Chyna Memorial Battle Royal

After WWE received backlash from fans on Social Media & their WrestleMania 34 sponser (Snickers) regarding WWE announcing the debut of the Fabulous Moolah Memorial Battle Royal this week on Raw, WWE has decided to change the name of the match to “WrestleMania Women’s Battle Royal”.

A fan has now begin a petition to name the match after Chyna. Below is the description of the petition:

Rename WWE’s Wrestlemania Woman’s BR to the “Joanie Laurer “Chyna” Memorial Battle Royal

“As many of you may have already heard, WWE has decided to change the name of the “Moolah Memorial Battle Royal” to the “WrestleMania Women’s Battle Royal”. Now in all honesty that name really sucks so I believe they should name it after “The 9th Wonder of The World” Joanie Laurer, or better known as Chyna to most, is probably the most popular and quite frankly the most deserving of this honor.

Her history is well know amongst diehard fans and casual fans alike and while WWE may fear that her life after WWE would pose a problem to be real no one really cares hahahaha. NO ONE is honestly going to be mad at the name change, people were actually wondering why it wasn’t named after her in the first place.

So I figured if I can make this petition and get enough eyes on it to possibly make it go viral WWE, or better yet their sponsors (Shoutout to Snickers for helping to get Moolah outta her), would reconsider and do the right thing

PUT SOME GODDAMN RESPECT IN JOANIE “CHYNA” LAURER’S NAME!!!!”
