• WWE Is Paying For Ridge Holland’s Upcoming Neck Fusion Surgery
As we previously noted, former WWE wrestler Ridge Holland issued another statement addressing the ongoing discussion surrounding his GoFundMe campaign. The 37-year-old clarified that he does not plan to donate the GoFundMe money he received, despite some fans believing that was his intention.
Holland further explained that once he has recovered from his injury and begins earning again, he plans to donate money from his future income to charity, not from the fundraiser itself.
In a post shared on X, he wrote:
“I AM NOT DONATING THE GO FUND ME MONEY!
Once I am earning money and in a position to donate I will donate to charity. This will be the money i earn not the go fund me money.
I am not a scammer.”
His clarification comes after a post in which he apologized for not being aware that the GoFundMe page had gone live and requested that no further donations be accepted. The campaign, started by a family member following his WWE release, had received contributions from several wrestlers.
The former NXT Tag Team Champion was released from WWE earlier this month, days before his contract was set to expire. He has been recovering from a severe foot injury sustained during a match at a TNA taping and has since been open about his financial struggles.
In an update on his situation, Ridge revealed on Busted Open Radio that WWE is paying for his upcoming neck fusion surgery, which will keep him out of action until May 2026 at least.

• WWE May Be Forced To Change Survivor Series Plans Due To Top Star’s Injury
The 2025 WWE Survivor Series: WarGames Premium Live Event is less than three weeks away.
The rumored Women’s WarGames match for the show features AJ Lee, Rhea Ripley, IYO SKY and WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss vs. Women’s Intercontinental Champion Becky Lynch, The Kabuki Warrior, Nia Jax and Lash Legend.
However, plans could change after Rhea Ripley suffered a broken nose during a Fatal 4-Way Women’s World Championship match at a WWE live event in Japan last month.
According to the Wrestling Observer, if Ripley isn’t cleared in time, WWE could replace her with Women’s World Champion Stephanie Vaquer.
Vaquer recently formed an alliance with WWE Hall of Famer Nikki Bella on RAW, and has been feuding with Raquel Rodriguez and Roxanne Perez of The Judgment Day.

• Real Reason Drew McIntyre Got Suspended From WWE
Drew McIntyre is stepping away from WWE television, but this time, it’s not due to injury or creative burnout. The former World Heavyweight Champion was “suspended indefinitely” as part of a storyline to allow him time off to film a major motion picture.
The storyline suspension took place on the November 7th episode of SmackDown, when General Manager Nick Aldis announced McIntyre’s punishment after he attacked a referee during the main event between Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes and Aleister Black. The outburst followed weeks of rising frustration for McIntyre, who has accused Rhodes of using underhanded tactics to retain the WWE Title at Saturday Night’s Main Event.
However, according to the Wrestling Observer, the suspension isn’t disciplinary – it’s a cover for McIntyre’s upcoming Hollywood project.
McIntyre is reportedly taking time away to work on the reboot of the classic fantasy film ‘Highlander,’ which is set to begin production in early 2026. The Scottish Superstar will play Angus MacLeod, the brother of Henry Cavill’s character, Connor MacLeod.
The role marks McIntyre’s biggest film project to date and will see him share the screen with WWE Legend Batista, who is also part of the cast. The film, directed by Chad Stahelski (John Wick franchise), is expected to feature intense sword fighting, large-scale stunts, and extensive combat choreography – all of which require significant physical preparation.
Dave Bautista recently told Collider that production for Highlander demands months of rigorous training, combining fight choreography, sword work, and weight training to bulk up for the role. McIntyre is reportedly undergoing similar preparation ahead of filming.
WWE officials are said to be fully supportive of the move, as the Highlander reboot could elevate McIntyre’s mainstream profile much like The Rock, John Cena, and Batista before him.
