Former WWE Champion The Miz has had a rough 2023, as prior to tonight’s RAW, his 2023 WWE record was 0-25.
That’s right. He has had 25 matches in 2023 so far (televised, Live Events, dark matches, PPVs) and lost all of them.
However, tonight was a good night for The A-Lister, as he finally picked up his first victory of 2023.
The Miz defeated Tommaso Ciampa in a No DQ match, with help from Bronson Reed.
On last week’s RAW, Miz had a character change, as he became a more serious, vicious character because of all his recent losses.
Below are the complete results from tonight’s RAW:
– World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins came out with Buffalo Wings and mocked The Judgment Day for almost imploding.
– Drew McIntyre & Matt Riddle def. Imperium (Ludwig Kaiser & Giovanni Vinci)
– Finn Balor & Damian Priest agreed to clean the slate as long as Finn gets to face Seth Rollins first.
– Judgment Day attacked Seth Rollins as he was coming out for his match against Dominik Mysterio. Kevin Owens & Sami Zayn made the save and it turned into a 6-Man Tag Team Match for later tonight.
– Logan Paul denied Ricochet a match against him stating that he’s already a WWE Superstar. Ricochet did a flip over the top rope to the outside and landed on his feet right in front of Logan (similar to how he did it on NXT a few years ago). Logan said it was cool for a TikTok, but not cool enough for a match against him.
Paul tried to sucker punch Ricochet, but Ricochet saw it coming and took out Logan.
– Zoey Stark def. Becky Lynch with help from Trish Stratus
– Chad Gable & Otis held an Alpha Academy Graduation Ceremony for Maxxine Dupri. The Viking Raiders crashed the ceremony and stole Maxxine’s jacket.
– Shayna Baszler def. Emma
After the match, Ronda Rousey attacked Shayna.
– Cody Rhodes cut a promo on Brock Lesnar and said he wants a rubber match against The Beast at SummerSlam 2023, since they are 1-1 against each other.
– The Miz def. Tommaso Ciampa in a No DQ Match with help from Bronson Reed
– Chelsea Green & Sonya Deville def. Katana Chance & Kayden Carter
– Judgment Day (Finn Balor, Dominik Mysterio & Mr. Money In The Bank Damian Priest) def. World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins and Undisputed WWE Tag Team Champions Kevin Owens & Sami Zayn
Finn hit his finishing move on Sami and pinned him, after Women’s World Champion Rhea Ripley provided a distraction.
Balor and Priest hugged after the match.
