• Finish Botched During Tonight’s Intercontinental Title Match (Video)
At tonight’s WWE Live Event from Moline, Illinois (which was titled ‘The Shield’s Final Chapter‘), Finn Balor defeated Elias to retain the Intercontinental Championship.
However, the original finish for the match was botched by the referee as Balor was supposed to pin Elias during a sequence, but the referee stopped the count thinking Elias was supposed to kick out.
