Tonight’s WWE NXT Battleground 2024 PLE took place at the UFC Apex in the Las Vegas suburb of Enterprise, Nevada.
Before the show, Oro Mensah attacked Ethan Page. Also, WWE Women’s Champion Bayley was scheduled to be in attendance tonight, but had to cancel as she’s sick. Here’s what she tweeted:
“I had planned to fly to Vegas and be there live for tonight’s show, but unfortunately I caught a cold and I need to be 100% for Clash! So I’m resting at home but I’m gonna do some live tweeting and maybe IG live for this historic show tonight. I’m so proud of NXT.”
Below are the results:
– Kelani Jordan def. Sol Ruca, Lash Legend, Fallon Henley, Jaida Parker & “Michin” Mia Yim in a Ladder Match to become the inaugural NXT Women’s North American Champion
– Axiom & Nathan Frazer (c) def. Luke Gallows & Karl Anderson to retain the NXT Tag Team Championship
– Lola Vice def. Shayna Baszler in an NXT Underground Match
– Former WWE Diva Gail Kim was spotted in attendance at this PLE:
– The next NXT PLE will be Heatwave in Toronto on July 7th.
– Oba Femi (c) def. Joe Coffey and Wes Lee in a Triple Threat Match to retain the NXT North American Championship
Gallus interfered and attacked Oba during the match, but they still couldn’t stop him.
– Roxanne Perez (c) def. TNA Knockouts World Champion Jordynne Grace to retain the NXT Women’s Championship
Tatum Paxley came out during the match and tried to steal Jordynne Grace’s TNA Knockouts World Championship. TNA wrestler Ash By Elegance (fka Dana Brooke) returned to WWE TV and stopped Paxley. Jordynne took both of them out. Due to this distraction, Roxanne put away Grace to retain her Title.
– Gallus attacked Wes Lee backstage.
– Trick Williams (c) def. Ethan Page to retain the NXT Championship
This was Page’s WWE debut match. Trick celebrated with Sexyy Red after the match.
