• Old School WWF Legend Celebrates His Birthday
Old School WWF Legend “The Heartbreak Kid” Shawn Michaels (Real name: Michael Hickenbottom) turns 54 today.
Shawn Michaels wrestled for Vince McMahon’s World Wrestling Federation from 1988 till 1998 and then (for the renamed WWE) from 2002 until 2010.
Shawn is widely considered one of the greatest professional wrestling superstars of all time, a statement hardly anyone disagrees on.
The Heartbreak Kid has been the leader of arguably the two greatest factions in wrestling history: D-Generation X (1997-1998) and the New World Order (2002).
In 2011, he was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame by his close personal friend “The Game” Triple H, but in 2019 Michaels got inducted a second time, this time as a member of D-Generation X.
