On tonight’s episode of Raw after WrestleMania 33, Seth Rollins was scheduled to team up with Chris Jericho to face the team of the new United States Champion Kevin Owens & Samoa Joe.
However, Owens & Joe attacked Jericho before the match and Y2J wasn’t cleared to compete tonight.
This led to former WWE Universal Champion Finn Balor making his return to WWE programming on tonight’s Raw to team up with Rollins. This is his first appearance on Raw since the post-SummerSlam 2016 edition of Raw where he relinquished the Universal Championship.
Finn Balor returns on Raw after WrestleMania 33
Tonight’s main event of Raw now is Finn Balor & Seth Rollins vs. United States Champion Kevin Owens & Samoa Joe. It should be noted that all four men in this match are former NXT Champions. Balor & Rollins ended up winning this match.
