• Finn Balor Teases Going After John Cena After What Happened In 2021

John Cena has a handful of matches left in his WWE career. A fan tweeted the following to World Tag Team Champion Finn Balor: “Hey, Finn Balor, you most likely won’t see this, but don’t forget Cena screwed you out of your SummerSlam match against Roman in 2021. I think you should get payback, just a thought.”

Balor replied: “Finn never forgets.”

The fan was referring to events from July 2021, when Finn Balor was set to challenge Roman Reigns for the Universal Championship at SummerSlam. During the contract signing on SmackDown, John Cena interrupted, signed the contract himself, and inserted himself into the match. This led to Reigns vs. Cena headlining the event, while Balor was pushed out of the title picture entirely.

Balor eventually got his shot against Reigns at Extreme Rules 2021, wrestling under his “Demon” persona. However, the match ended in controversial fashion when the top rope collapsed just as Balor was about to hit his finisher, allowing Reigns to retain the title.

• Roman Reigns Names His All-Time Favorite Opponent

In a recent ESPN “Rapid Fire” interview, Roman Reigns surprised no one when he named Brock Lesnar as his all-time favorite opponent – thanks to the massive impact those matches had on his career. When asked who’s been his best rival ever, Reigns didn’t hesitate:

“Brock Lesnar. My whole career changed once I got into the ring with him.”

That moment of clarity comes as no shock to wrestling fans. Reigns and Lesnar have clashed in high-stakes main events – WrestleMania bouts, championship unification matches at another Mania, and brutal showdowns like their Last Man Standing battle at SummerSlam 2022, the finale of their lengthy feud.

• “Never Do That Again” – Gunther Reacts To Fan’s Bold Move

In an honest moment on The Undertaker’s podcast Six Feet Under, WWE Superstar Gunther shared a story that has sparked both admiration and controversy among fans. The two-time World Heavyweight Champion recounted an encounter with a fan who had driven 9 hours to attend his meet-and-greet.

Gunther’s response was: “I appreciate it, but never do that again. Do something with your time that actually benefits you. It’s like a waste of time.”

He further emphasized that if his own child were to undertake such a journey, he would hope someone would offer the same advice.
