Finn Balor has revealed the proudest moment of his career and it’s not his WWE Universal Championship victory at SummerSlam 2016, or for that matter, any of his own victory!
In the main event of this week’s NXT, RAW Superstar Dominik Mysterio defeated Wes Lee to win the NXT North American Championship.
This was Dirty Dom’s first singles title win in WWE.
The Judgment Day interfered in this match. While the referee stopped Finn Balor and Wes took out Mr. Money In The Bank Damian Priest, the numbers game finally caught up with Wes, as Rhea Ripley hit him in the head with her Women’s World Championship, which resulted in her “Dom Dom” picking up the win.
Finn Balor noted on Twitter that Dominik’s title victory was the proudest moment of his career:
“The proudest moment of my career. Congratulations @DomMysterio35”
Dominik replied:
“My brother 🖤 ⚖️”
Priest tweeted:
“So happy and proud of the little bro, Dirty @DomMysterio35! What a night 🍾”
Dominik replied:
“Mi hermano!!🖤🙌” (translation: My brother!!)
Ripley tweeted:
“Words cannot describe the feelings running through my body… So bloody proud of you @DomMysterio35 😍💜”
Dominik replied:
“You’re too good to me mami!! Couldn’t have done without you 💜”
This week’s NXT drew 746,000 viewers with a 0.21 rating in the 18-49 demo, which is up from last week’s 671,000 viewers with a 0.20 rating.
