Below are a couple of top AEW & WWE news stories of the day.

• During an interview on the “Something for Everybody” podcast, AEW Trios Champion Wheeler Yuta revealed that former AEW International Champion Orange Cassidy brings candy for the entire All Elite Wrestling roster every week:

“There are a lot of people in the locker room that definitely step up. Some of them are like guys that lead my example like Orange Cassidy is a good example of somebody who just leads by demonstrating — alright, he shows up to work every week. He does what he’s asked. He brings candy for the boys, that’s fun.

Just brings four bags of candy to the locker room every week. He’s on time, he does his stuff, he hits his times. He’s a very model employee. He’s a quiet leader that everyone looks up to and respects. Not me, obviously, I hate him. Screw that guy. Go Death Riders.”

• Becky Lynch recently addressed her future in professional wrestling during the Getting Over podcast. When asked how long she sees herself wrestling full-time and whether she would return for short runs like John Cena, Lynch admitted she isn’t sure.

She expressed her deep love for wrestling, noting that it has shaped her life and family. Reflecting on her career, she acknowledged that life often brings unexpected opportunities, and while she has a great mind for wrestling, she doesn’t know what her future in the industry will look like.

Here’s what the winner of the first-ever women’s WrestleMania main event said:

“I’m not trying to be vague or cagey in any way, but I feel like I have a great mind for wrestling, a great love for it, and it’s always going to be a part of me. It’s in my heart, it’s in my head, and it’s the reason I have my family. So, it’s incredibly important to me—I just don’t know what that looks like in the future.

Life has surprised me in wonderful ways recently. You can make all these plans, but sometimes things don’t go the way you intended. In the long run, though, something else works out—something even better than you expected. And honestly, I feel like that’s been the story of my entire career.”
