On last week’s episode of AEW Dynamite: Fight For The Fallen, Eddie Kingston returned after the AEW International Championship match between Orange Cassidy and Wheeler Yuta.
The angle led to AEW announing a Stadium Stampede match between the team of Eddie Kingston, AEW International Champion Orange Cassidy, Best Friends and The Lucha Bros and Blackpool Combat Club.
According to Fightful Select, former AEW World Tag Team & Trios Champion Rey Fenix is no longer scheduled to compete in this match. The indication given by sources was that Fenix’s absence was travel or visa related, as opposed to an injury, but that has yet to be confirmed.
AEW is expected to explain the reason behind Fenix being pulled from the All In match-card. They will likely do an angle on Dynamite tomorrow night for it.
On the AEW All In media call earlier today, AEW President Tony Khan did say that there will be some changes in the All In match-card:
“There will be adjustments to the card – some of them have been planned from the beginning, some are things we’re dealing with on the fly.
I expect more changes. They were not changes I wanted to make or planned to make.
There will probably be some changes to the card necessitated by things happening in the real world, stuff in some cases that is nobody’s fault, but stuff that is not related to the world of professional wrestling.”
