According to Fightful Select, former Divas Champion Kelly Kelly has signed a WWE Legends Contract.
Kelly Kelly (real name: Barbie Blank) hasn’t been an active performer in over a decade, but she continues to watch WWE’s weekly programming.
In a recent interview with Byron Scott’s Fastbreak, Kelly Kelly spoke about keeping up with the product and wanting a match against Charlotte Flair:
“I do. I really try to be in the know of what’s going on because I’m still around and come back here and there. I really love Charlotte Flair. She is amazing. She kind of fell into it. She blew up and is so amazing and great. One day. We’re going to have our match.”
Kelly Kelly last competed in WWE in the 2022 Women’s Royal Rumble match.
• Ric Flair Can’t Appear At WrestleMania 41 Due To AEW
On Busted Open Radio, Ric Flair was asked if he’ll appear on-screen at WrestleMania 41, for a possible moment with John Cena if Cena defeats Cody Rhodes to win his 17th World Title.
Flair said:
“I wish I could say that I was, but I’m not, and I understand why, and I’m not mad about it by any means. Every time they talk about the Title, my name gets mentioned. They keep me relevant. It’s very cool. John is a great guy. Cody is a great guy.”
When asked why WWE doesn’t want him to be there, The Nature Boy replied he still works for AEW:
“I work for another company. I’m sure I would be more than welcome. Absolutely, if I wasn’t working with Tony (Khan), I would absolutely be there. They couldn’t keep me out of the building.”
Flair hasn’t appeared on AEW TV in more than a year. His last appearance was at the AEW Revolution 2024 PPV, during Sting’s retirement match.
