• During an interview with Chris Van Vliet, former Women’s Tag Team Champion Chelsea Green was asked about the possibility of her husband Zack Ryder / Matt Cardona returning to WWE.
Here’s what Chelsea said about the former Intercontinental Champion’s return:
“I’m waiting. I am patiently waiting. Because not that I want to be partnered up with him in WWE. That would be great. I think we could have an amazing mixed match, tag team division, whatever it is. But I don’t know.
I don’t know why, I would love to know why. I would love to be a fly on the wall of the meetings of the top guys in WWE. But I do feel like in my heart of hearts, it’s only a matter of time, it feels crazy that he wouldn’t be.”

• Despite stepping away officially from the creative process in WWE after the sale and TKO merger, Vince McMahon remained involved, occasionally returning to the Gorilla position for shows.
While Triple H assumed the role of Chief Content Officer, the Wrestling Observer reports that McMahon continued to influence creative decisions indirectly, despite no longer having direct power in the creative department.
The Observer also noted that Ronda Rousey’s recent comments about Vince were true.
After the recent allegations against Vince came out, which resulted in McMahon resigning from all positions in TKO, Ronda tweeted:
“Bruce Prichard is basically Vince’s avatar, if he’s still around Vince still has a hand in the business. Vince was still running things through Bruce when he was ‘gone’ before.”
