On last week’s episode of Impact Wrestling, former NXT wrestler Sami Callihan smashed former TNA World Heavyweight Champion Eddie Edwards in the face with a Baseball bat.
Callihan actually hit the bat on a Steel Chair placed on top of Eddie, but the bat slipped off the chair and hit Eddie right in the face.
You can watch it below:
This was actually taped in January and this resulted in multiple injuries to Eddie. Below is what Eddie tweeted regarding these injuries back in January:
Thanks to everyone checkin in. Im good, couple broken bones couple cuts and a sweet black eye. Somedays youre the bat, somedays youre my eye

Not like I was gonna let a little baseball bat to the face stop me from watching my @Patriots last night #Patriots #AiP pic.twitter.com/iFE422UWRL

Callihan appeared on Busted Open Radio and had the following to say regarding this incident:
“If I have to apologize to the fans, I’m not coming and working for your company anymore. Sh*t happens.
You know what, sure, call me that (the most dangerous man in Professional Wrestling today), because at the end of the day I know I’m one of the baddest MF’ers walking this planet today. I do not give a damn anymore.
I’m at that point in my career where if you want to call me unsafe, call me unsafe. The fans want me unsafe, The boys in the back want to have insults about my work… You can look at my schedule and see I’m the most booked person on the planet. You can come find me and talk to me face to face, because that’s how I deal with stuff, like a man.
Absolutely! Why wouldn’t I do this again? Boo-hoo, I hurt Eddie Edwards with a prop. Everyone is going to tune in next week to see what happens next.”
