• Former RAW Tag Team Champions Were Expected To Be A Part Of Chris Jericho’s Inner Circle Stable
During an interview on the AEW Unrestricted podcast, AEW wrestler Jake Hager (fka Jack Swagger in WWE) revealed that former RAW Tag Team Champions Luke Gallows & Karl Anderson were expected to be a part of Chris Jericho’s Inner Circle stable.
However, Gallows & Anderson ended up re-signing with the WWE in late 2019.
Here’s what Hager said:
“I think what happened was, Gallows and Anderson possibly were going to be in The Inner Circle, but they re-signed. So, I got bumped up or I came into the picture, however you want to phrase it. Chris told Tony [Khan] he wanted me for the job and the rest is history.
Tony made sure I wasn’t a scumbag. He had a couple of phone calls with me and then I got to be Elite. It was great. I am so glad I got to be part of the groundwork, the beginning team of AEW, I’m very proud of that.”
Hager debuted on the debut episode of AEW Dynamite in October 2019, and joined The Inner Circle. You can watch it below:

• Old School Attitude Era Legend Would’ve Celebrated Her Birthday
Today would’ve been the 52nd birthday of Old School WWF Attitude Era Legend Chyna (Real name: Joan Marie Laurer).
Chyna first showed up WWF TV in 1997 as the female bodyguard (& real-life girlfriend) of Hunter Hearst Helmsley, but would soon turn into a member of one of the most famous factions in Professional Wrestling history: D-Generation X.
Chyna left the World Wrestling Federation in 2001 and went to wrestle for New Japan Pro Wrestling (2002) and Total Nonstop Action! (2011).
She was posthumously inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2019, alongside her DX buddies The New Age Outlaws, Shawn Michaels, Triple H & X-Pac.
