• Old School Wrestling Veteran Would Have Celebrated His Birthday

Today would be the 67th birthday of Old School NWA/WCW Veteran “Pistol” Pez Whatley (Real name: Pezavan Whatley).

During his NWA feud against Jimmy Valiant he was known as Shaska Whatley, before turning into a WWF jobber in 1990 & 1991 and later returning to WCW, where he eventually ended up becoming a coach in the WCW Power Plant.

• Former TNA Star Comments On If WWE Has Contacted Him For A Run In NXT

During a recent interview with Solo Wrestling, former TNA Star Kenny King was asked if WWE has contacted him for a run in the company.

Below is what he said:

“I had a tryout in 2007, but I’ve been under contract for a major wrestling company since 2008. We’ve been in contact. I was talking with the WWE office about going to NXT in December of 2016.

My whole situation is based around I have joint custody of my daughter. So moving to Florida to NXT was a problem. That’s why I decided to sign with ROH last year.

WWE is everybody’s goal when they start, but I think the goal of every professional wrestler is to be able to pay your own bills and work as a wrestler no matter what company you work with.”

As we noted before, former WWE Diva Christy Hemme delivered quadruplets after going into early labor. She talked about her pregnancy on YouTube for months and noted that it was a high risk pregnancy.

Christy, who is 37 years old, gave birth to 3 boys and 1 girl. She already had a 3 year old daughter and now all her kids share the same birthday – January 6.
