• Old School ECW Diva Celebrates Her Birthday
Old School ECW Diva Elektra (Real name: Donna Adamo) turns 48 today.
Elektra used to be the wife of ECW Wrestler Big Dick Dudley, whom she divorced in 2002.
She worked as a valet for Paul Heyman’s Extreme Championship Wrestling promotion from 1999 till the company closed its doors in early 2001.
Adamo later worked as an actress in several episodes of the famous TV series ‘The Sopranos’, where she played a a stripper in Tony Soprano’s club.

• Former TNA World Champion Says WWE Never Gave Him A Straight Answer Regarding Getting Signed
During a recent appearance on The Apter Chat, former TNA World Heavyweight Champion & current NWA World’s Heavyweight Champion Nick Aldis (Magnus) talked about wanting to join WWE, but WWE officials never giving him a straight answer during talks.
Below is what Nick said:
“I had interest. And they (WWE) had interest when I was with TNA. Then, for whatever reason, when I became available in 2015, it was a different story.
Quite frankly, I had too many conversations with them where the first couple of times it was ‘no.’ Then it was ‘no, not right now.’ And then it was ‘let me talk to this guy, let me talk to that guy.’ I just got to a point where I just lost interest. That was all I ever wanted at one point, then for whatever reason it never materialized.
I feel like there’s something there that they are not telling me. I don’t know what it is. Frankly, we’re all adults. I’d rather them give me a straight answer but I could never get that from them.
There’s so many people and so many camps. There’s so many snakes in the grass. I’d rather just get a straight answer and they don’t want to do that. I just don’t have time to play games with them.
I just want to be a big-time pro wrestler and if I have to be a big-time pro wrestler by building my own brand then so be it.”
For those who don’t know, Nick is married to current RAW Superstar Mickie James.
