• Former WCW personality Jackie Crockett has sadly passed away after spending a month battling with his health in the hospital. He was 76 years old
Jackie Crockett, known for his role as the lead cameraman for Jim Crockett Promotions, his father’s company, had a longstanding career journey in World Championship Wrestling that concluded after the final episode of WCW Monday Nitro in 2001.
According to PWInsider, David Crockett shared that there were moments when hope seemed lost for his brother Jackie’s health, but he fought valiantly until the end.
“It has been a long journey for Jackie and he went out his way. Tonight Jackie’s breathing was very labored and when we thought he was gone, he would come back like a wrestling false finish.”
Jackie Crockett’s final resting place will be in Bristol, Virginia, where his parents and brother Jim Crockett Jr. have also been laid to rest.
