• WWF Legend Not Returning To WWE Anytime Soon?
Old School WWF Legend Chris Jericho hasn’t been seen much on WWE programming as of late. He last appeared at the Greatest Royal Rumble in Saudi Arabia.
Jericho has been busy in his concerts with Fozzy and he has also been competing in some major matches in New Japan Pro Wrestling (where he’s the current IWGP Intercontinental Champion). He might not be coming back to WWE soon because he has a very unique situation.
Dave Meltzer recently discussed Jericho’s future. He said Y2J has a unique deal because he doesn’t want to upset WWE. But he also wants to keep doing what he’s currently doing.
Meltzer said that it is likely Y2J will not be going back to WWE anytime soon. He is set to work some NJPW dates and he is also satisfied with the creative freedom he has there. Jericho is also adamant about competing at All In and he wouldn’t want to miss the event.
Jericho would obviously want a good relation with WWE but he looks satisfied working with NJPW right now.
