Below are some top AEW news stories of the day.
• AEW star Deonna Purrazzo, a high-profile signing from her success in TNA, AAA, and ROH, has reportedly expressed frustration over her usage in the company.
Since joining AEW, she’s had notable feuds with Mariah May, Toni Storm, and Hikaru Shida, and in late 2024, she aligned with Taya Valkyrie to form “The Vendetta”. However, her appearances have been sporadic.
Fightful Select reported the following about the former TNA IMPACT Knockouts World Champion’s frustrations:
“Deonna Purrazzo has been very vocal to management about wanting to be utilized more and better. Especially around the Full Gear show in her hometown.”
Despite this, Purrazzo hasn’t competed since January 4th, when she lost to Toni Storm on Collision. Her next match or storyline remains uncertain.

• A few months back, WCW Veteran Konnan broke the story that AEW couple Adam Cole and Britt Baker have ended their relationship, which was later confirmed by Cole.
Now, Konnan is claiming that Baker cheated on Cole. Here’s what he said on his podcast:
“I was the first one that said her and Cole had broken up. They were on me again. Now you see it’s true. And I’m gonna throw this little one in there — a very credible source said it happened because she was cheating on him.”
Britt issued the following statement on X regarding this claim:
“I understand we as performers are expected to have thick skin through opinions and lies we read about ourselves, but spreading lies about my personal life is just low, weird, and something I won’t tolerate.
I’ve never cheated on anyone in my life. #TellYourSource”
Reacting to this story, a fan asked ECW Legend Sabu if he would “smash” Britt. Here’s what Sabu replied:
“I would… lol …”
