2-Time WWE Hall Of Famer Booker T was the guest on the latest edition of the Chris Van Vliet show.

During the interview, Booker T revealed that he was quitting WWE in 2005, and was on his way out of there in 2006, but WWE stopped him by giving his wife, Sharmell, a contract so that she could be on the road with him.

Here’s what Booker T said:

“I was gonna quit WWE back in 2005, 2006 I was leaving because Sharmell and I got married and I didn’t want to be on the road and I talked to them about it.

They said, ‘why don’t we hire Sharmell?’ I was like, ‘that’ll solve a whole lot.’ So, they hired Sharmell and she came on the road.”
