• Former WWE 24/7 Champion Returns To NFL TV

After 3 SuperBowl wins (2015, 2017 & 2019) with the New England Patriots, NFL Legend Rob Gronkowski hosted the WWE WrestleMania 36 pay-per-view that aired on April 4th & 5th 2020, which unfortunately had to be taped at the WWE Performance Center without an actual crowd due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

On the second day of the event, Gronk actually managed to capture the WWE 24/7 Championship by pinning his friend, former Green Bay Packers defensive lineman, WWE Superstar Mojo Rawley.

Rob eventually lost the title to R-Truth in a taped segment on June 1st 2020, thus becoming the (at that point in time) longest reigning 24/7 Champion in a single run.

He then went on to win yet another SuperBowl with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in 2021 and retired from Professional Football for good.

Gronkowski took to Twitter on October 16th 2022 and announced his return to NFL TV by joining the panel of the NFL Shows on FOX Sports as an expert.

Here’s what he tweeted:

FOX Sports PR then replied:

“Welcome back to the team, Gronk! Fans can see him throughout the season on FOX NFL KICKOFF and FOX NFL SUNDAY. cc: @NFLonFOX”
