• Former WWE Champion Confirms He Was In Talks With AEW

Former WWE Champion AJ Styles discussed the rumors of him being in talks with AEW last year on his Twitch stream recently. He was supposed to debut on the first episode of Dynamite alongside Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson.

The Phenomenal One confirmed that he was in talks with AEW when his WWE contract was about to expire.

“Yeah, there were talks. Look, it’s a business. My contract in WWE was going to expire, and there were talks happening.

The [Young] Bucks are my buddies. We never discussed money or anything, but there were talks about coming in. Again, it’s all business.”

Styles decided to stay with WWE when he got a better offer from them, and signed a 5-year deal with the company, which he claims to be his last deal as a pro-wrestler.
