• Former WWE Champion Expected To Return During The Draft

The 2023 WWE Draft will begin on this Friday’s SmackDown and will continue on Monday’s RAW.

According to WRKD Wrestling, former WWE Champion Big E is expected to return during the Draft:

“One name rumored to return during the upcoming Draft is former WWE Champion, Big E.

Big E has been sidelined with a major neck injury since March ‘22.”

No word yet on if this means that Big E has been cleared to return to in-ring action, or he’s just going to make an appearance.

WRKD Wrestling also recently reported that WWE wants to do a New Day vs. Imperium feud if Big E gets cleared, with Gunther vs. Big E for the Intercontinental Championship being the main part of the feud.

Big E got checked by his Doctors recently, at the one-year mark of his injury, to assess his future.
