Today would have been the 60th birthday of Old School WWF Legend The Ultimate Warrior (Jim Hellwig).

The Ultimate Warrior wrestled for the World Wrestling Federation from 1987 till 1991 and then again in 1992 and 1996.

The by far biggest moment of Warrior’s entire career came in the main event of the WrestleMania VI PPV in 1990, when he defeated “The Immortal” Hulk Hogan clean in the middle of the ring to become the new WWF World Heavyweight Champion.

In 2014, he was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame by Linda McMahon, just a few days before he passed away.

• Former WWE Champion Says His Retirement Is Real – Will Go Broke Than Wrestle Again

After his loss to “The Game” Triple H at WrestleMania 35, Batista announced that he’s retired from Pro-Wrestling.

During a recent interview with Chris Van Vliet, Batista noted that his retirement is real and that he will not wrestle another match under any condition and won’t go to another promotion either.

Below is what Batista said:

“This is a real wrestling retirement. I am done. My in-ring career is over. I would love to go back on the show because I love the company and I believe in the product so I would go back and go on the show.

If they ask me to go in the Hall of Fame I will. But I will not have another wrestling match. I will go broke before I have another wrestling match and I will not go and work for another promotion.”
