What Happened In This Week’s SmackDown Live Dark Main Event?

In this week’s SmackDown Live dark main event (which takes place after 205 Live goes off the air), the team of Bobby Roode & Shinsuke Nakamura defeated the tean of Dolph Ziggler & WWE Champion Jinder Mahal.

Speaking of Jinder, he cut a promo on Universal Champion Brock Lesnar & Paul Heyman on this week’s episode of SmackDown Live. You can watch it below:

Former WWE Champion Says Shane McMahon Has Pigeonholed Himself To Jumping Off Stuff

During a recent edition of E&C’s Pod Of Awesomeness, former WWE Champion Edge talked about the Shane McMahon vs. Kevin Owens Hell in a Cell match and Shane O’Mac’s big bump.

Below is what the “Rated-R Superstar” had to say about Shane:

“I mean, it’s Shane, right? So you know he’s going to fall off of something. You know it’s coming and what’s difficult about that sometimes is that the crowd, they know that, so they wait for that. Do you know what I mean? So sometimes you pigeonhole yourself, you trap yourself.

When you’re the guy who falls off of buildings, they’re going to wait for you to fall off the building. I’ve enjoyed the whole storyline and the fact that Kev is always the guy who talks about family, he made it about family, so it was interesting. It was really good.”

Dangerous Bump On This Week’s 205 Live

Former WWE Cruiserweight Champion Kalisto took a dangerous bump on this week’s episode of 205 Live where he landed head-first on the ring apron. You can check out the GIF below:

The 205 Live main event, which was for the Cruiserweight Championship between Kalisto & Enzo Amore, ended when Enzo kicked the referee and Kalisto won the match via DQ (which means Enzo retained the Title).

ECW Legend Very Surprised By AJ Styles & Finn Balor Doing “Too Sweet” At TLC 2017

During a recent edition of “The Taz Show” podcast, ECW Legend Taz discussed the events that took place at TLC 2017. Below are the highlights:

On a couple of tables not breaking:

“We saw several tables in that match and I think Dean Ambrose was slammed on the table once or twice and the table didn’t break. I think it was twice with Dean. It’s not good for anybody when that happens. It hurts. And then when Kane went to double Chokeslam the two members of the Shield, Ooooohf! That didn’t work either.

When you’re using furniture meaning tables, weapon, chairs and all this and ladders, they don’t know how to work, meaning it’s furniture. We call them furniture for a reason. Any furniture doesn’t know how to work. It doesn’t cooperate with you sometimes. So you got to make sure when you’re doing it. Otherwise there will be a problem.”

On Jason Jordan:

“I think Jason Jordan is a heel without even trying. That guy is hated. I’ve been saying it forever… the guy is just not liked.”

On being surprised by AJ Styles & Finn Balor doing the “Too Sweet” gesture:

“I loved AJ vs. Finn for sure. I thought AJ and Finn definitely stole the show. I thought it was very generous of WWE because this is a WrestleMania level match here. They put it on the TLC show. I was like, wow!

I kind of feel like sometimes I think WWE gives too many of these better, bigger matches at times. They have so much really good talent. They’ve gotten everybody from Ring of Honor, TNA, all the top guys.

I was very surprised that WWE allowed AJ and Finn to do the hand gesture – the ‘too sweet’ thing together. That just surprised me. I thought it was cute. I’m just saying I’m surprised that the company allowed that to happen.”
