• Former WWE Champion Was Considered For WrestleMania 41 Match Against Randy Orton
Randy Orton’s open challenge for his 20th WrestleMania match was answered by TNA World Champion Joe Hendry at WrestleMania 41 – Night 2. Orton defeated Hendry in a short match after hitting the RKO.
Orton put over Hendry by raising his arm after the match, but hit another RKO!
According to PWN, former WWE Champion Jeff Hardy (who is one half of the TNA World Tag Team Champions right now) will also considered for this spot, but WWE eventually went with Hendry.
The Hardy Boyz recently worked in NXT under the WWE-TNA partnership, and are expected to work on the WWE main roster later this year.
• 2 WWE Hall Of Famers Confirm In-Ring Return
During an interview on Busted Open Radio, WWE Hall of Famers The Bella Twins were asked if they’ll be returning to the ring for more matches.
Nikki Bella confirmed that they will be coming back:
“I’m waiting for this one (Brie Bella) to join me in the ring, so yes, there will be a Bella Twins comeback.”
Nikki Bella returned to the ring during the 2025 Women’s Royal Rumble match. On the other hand, Brie hasn’t wrestled since the 2022 Women’s Royal Rumble.
