Below are a couple of top WWE news stories of the day.

• According to PWInsider, former WWE Champion AJ Styles will return on tonight’s episode of SmackDown.

His return was originally scheduled to take place a few weeks ago, but kept getting postponed. Styles will reportedly return to the road for WWE this weekend.

Styles was last seen on the September 22nd episode of SmackDown, where he was assaulted by Solo Sikoa and Jimmy Uso of The Bloodline.

More main roster returns are expected tonight, as mentioned in the next news story below.

• WWE recently capitalized on the return of the Latino World Order (LWO), generating significant revenue. However, the faction faced issues recently due to Santos Escobar’s heel turn.

Escobar attacked Rey Mysterio, who is currently off TV due to knee surgery, alleging favoritism toward Carlito. Following the attack, there were discussions about Escobar recruiting new associates for the feud.

WWE discussed Angel Garza and Humberto Carrillo, who are currently in NXT, to align with Escobar on the main roster.

PWInsider reports that Garza and Carrillo are expected to return to the main roster on tonight’s SmackDown in Green Bay, Wisconsin, where they might be involved in the ongoing feud as previously suggested.
