On this day in Pro Wrestling history on December 12, 1999, the World Wrestling Federation aired their annual ‘Armageddon’ event LIVE on PPV from the National Car Rental Center in Sunrise, Florida.

In front of 17,054 people, Triple H faced Vince McMahon in a ‘No Holds Barred’ match after marrying his daughter Stephanie “against her will” a few weeks earlier.

Despite being on the official WWF Poster, The Undertaker wasn’t part of the event, because he was still injured.

• Former WWE Divas Champion Was Scheduled To Be Sister Abigail In The Wyatt Family

During a recent appearance on The Agenda Podcast, former WWE creative team member Tom Casiello noted that former WWE Divas Champion Kaitlyn was scheduled to be a part of The Wyatt Family.

Casiello noted that Kaitlyn didn’t have any storyline at the time and there were talks of her portraying Sister Abigail in The Wyatt Family, but that obviously didn’t end up happening.
