• Former WWE Intercontinental Champion Will Never Wrestle Again

During an interview on WWE’s The Bump before Clash At The Castle, NXT Commentator Wade Barrett said the following about a possible return to the ring in the future:

“I’m not going anywhere near a ring again.”

Barrett’s last match took place on the April 4, 2016 episode of RAW, where he teamed up with Sheamus to lose to The New Day in a WWE Tag Team Championship match.

Wade is 42-years-old and recently signed a 2-year extension with WWE, as he said he’s having the time of his life in NXT 2.0.
