Roman Reigns has been the #1 champion in WWE for more than 1,000 days and counting, which makes him the longest reigning World Champion of the last 35 years.
Roman took to Twitter and tweeted the following:
“Tough times made me The Tribal Chief I am today. The Greatest of All Time. 1000 days as the undisputed best in the world! #AcknowledgeMe #SmackDown”
Former WWE Intercontinental Champion Ryback saw this and replied in a Tweet of his own:
“Never forget if I was around I’d ShellShock that 1 and leave you with nothing. #Hungry #Ryback TM”
They have quite some history together, as a debuting Shield with Roman Reigns cost Ryback the WWE Championship on more than one occasion in late 2012 and early 2013.
Ryback recently revealed that he will be cleared for an in-ring return in a few months.
As seen on last night’s SmackDown, Roman kicked Jimmy Uso out of The Bloodline, after he made Solo Sikoa attack Jimmy.
