Below are a couple of top AEW & WWE news stories of the day.

• Jimmy Jacobs is no longer with All Elite Wrestling. He joined AEW as a producer in June 2023 after previously working on WWE and TNA’s writing teams.

Jacobs was fired from WWE after posting a photo with The Elite while they tried to “invade” RAW.

While in AEW, Jacobs wrestled a few matches for ROH, with his last bout being a loss to Satnam Singh in May.

According to Fightful Select, Jacobs resigned over the past week, citing burnout. AEW is reportedly viewing his departure as an opportunity to refresh their writer’s room.
