• Former WWE Star Got Hurt During Her Return Match
We reported last month that former WWE Superstar Kairi Sane is making an in-ring comeback.
The former WWE Women’s Tag Team Champion appeared at a Stardom press conference and announced her return to the promotion.
She said she wants to team up with Mayu Iwatani to take on Unagi Sayaka and Tam Nakano. She was then attacked by the Oedo Tai stable.
The 33-year-old wrestler noted that she’s in the best physical shape of her life right now and her ring name from now on is going to be KAIRI.
At Stardom’s World Climax Show on March 26, KAIRI & Mayu Iwatani defeated Tam Nakano & Unagi Sayaka in a Tag Team Match.
KAIRI picked up the win for her team with her Diving Elbow Drop Finisher.
During a press conference after the match, Kairi talked about getting hurt during the match:
“My eardrum is ruptured right now, so I can’t hear. Each move had weight, and I was on fire during the fight. My eardrum was torn, but I was happy, or rather, the pain made me happy.”
