As WWE Worlds Collide gets underway, Fightful Select has reported that Chavo Guerrero is backstage at the event. While there’s no confirmation yet on whether he’ll appear on camera, his presence has sparked speculation. Guerrero has long-standing ties to both WWE and lucha libre, making his backstage involvement at a cross-promotional show like Worlds Collide especially interesting. Chavo hasn’t appeared on WWE television in several years but remains an active figure in wrestling through coaching and consulting roles. Given the event’s heavy representation from AAA and lucha talent, his backstage presence could be tied to any number of matches or production elements.

Rey Mysterio Scheduled to Appear at WWE Worlds Collide Despite Injury

In a surprise development, Rey Mysterio is also scheduled to appear during Worlds Collide, even though he’s currently out with an injury.

Mysterio’s connection to many of the lucha-based competitors on the card—such as Dragon Lee, Lince Dorado, and El Hijo del Vikingo—makes him a natural fit to lend star power to the show, even in a limited capacity.
