Speaking of Swagger, he was recently interview by Arm Drag Takedown and the former World Heavyweight Champion talked about working in the WWE, Cody Rhodes leaving WWE & more. Below are the highlights:
On why it was special working for WWE:
“I was very lucky to go to the biggest company in the world and wrestle. You definitely see the bigger arenas, the bigger crowds, hear the bigger pops, work with he bigger names. You can’t put a monetary value on that, because it’s so special.”
On what he didn’t accomplish in WWE:
“Anything I did not accomplish there, it wasn’t because there was a thumb over my head, pushing me down. It’s because I didn’t accomplish it. That’s the way I choose to go through life and look at things and move on.”
On Cody Rhodes leaving WWE:
“He has a very good brain for this business – he always has – and he really knew his game plan and what he wanted to do. He executed it very well.”
