Below are the results from tonight’s episode of AEW Dynamite, which featured the return of former WWE wrestler Lio Rush in the main event.
– Tonight’s episode of AEW Dynamite kicked off with Mercedes Mone celebrating winning the TBS Women’s Championship. Skye Blue appeared on the titantron and revealed that she was the one who attacked Mone backstage a while back. Skye attacked Mercedes from behind and took her out.
– AEW World Champion Swerve Strickland def. Killswitch (Luchasaurus)
– FTW Champion Chris Jericho debuted his new Talk Show called TV Time. Jericho thanked the branches for joining The Learning Tree and introduced Bryan Keith, who is now under the shade of The Learning Tree. Keith said it was an easy decision to make and demanded that everyone show Jericho the respect he deserves. Hook came out and took out Jericho’s Security Guards. Samoa Joe made his way out and whispered something to Hook and they left together.
– Don Callis called Orange Cassidy to the ring and offered a contract to him to join The Don Callis Family. Cassidy declined and ripped the contract. Kris Statlander & Stokely Hathaway came out. Kris said that her best friend accepted Don Callis’ offer. Trent Beretta came from behind and attacked Cassidy, and he joined The Don Callis Family.
– IWGP World Heavyweight Champion Jon Moxley def. Rocky Romero
– Mercedes Mone (c) def. Skye Blue to retain the TBS Women’s Championship
As Mercedes celebrated her win, NJPW STRONG Women’s Champion Stephanie Vaquer came out and posed with her title.
– The Elite celebrated their Anarchy In The Arena win. Matthew & Nicolas Jackson gave Kazuchika Okada a new Lamborghini, and stripped Adam Copeland of the TNT Title and wanted to award it to “Scapegoat” Jack Perry.
Christopher Daniels came out and announced that Tony Khan has named him the new Interim EVP and he said there will be qualifying matches for a Ladder Match at Forbidden Door to determine the next TNT Champion.
During this segment, fans began chanting for WWE star CM Punk, which led to Okada saying:
“Shut up, b*tches.”

– AEW International Champion Will Ospreay won The Casino Gauntlet Match to earn an AEW World Championship Match against Swerve Strickland at the Forbidden Door PPV.
