Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer has now confirmed that EC3 (f.k.a Derrick Bateman in WWE/NXT) will be returning to WWE soon. It should be noted that this might happen at the upcoming Royal Rumble 2018 PPV as EC3 was pulled from an indy event which takes place the same day as the Royal Rumble 2018 PPV.

Below is what Renegade Wrestling Revolution announced regarding EC3 being pulled from his appearance:

“BREAKING NEWS!!!!!! Do to reasons out of RWR control EC3 will not be able to attend RWR “OVER THE TOP”. EC3 has said he will be back to RWR in the near future.
