• Taz Says Singh Brothers’ Promo Content From SmackDown Live Sucked

During a recent edition of The Taz Show podcast, ECW Legend Taz talked about The Singh Brothers’ promo from SmackDown Live:

“I thought some of the stuff he did last night was very cool with The Singh Brothers. I liked that AJ beat them up and stuff like that and Jinder wouldn’t get in the ring. That leads to the main event, AJ Styles against Jinder Mahal this Sunday at the Clash of Champions. I liked that Jinder would not get in the ring. That’s smart, simple booking. Keep the heat. You cannot go wrong with that. That works. It has worked for years and that’s how you got to do it.

Some of the stuff that The Singh Brothers were saying that they wrote for these two kids was kind of corny and it kind of sucked. It was a little hokey instead of coming off real. It just came off corny and hokey. The Singh Brothers, these guys are talented. Let them talk. Don’t let them act like buffoons.

If you want to do a bit where they are done with Jinder Mahal, have them act serious about it. Don’t have them say his feet smells like chicken and cheese or whatever. It was stupid. It was immature. I don’t even think little kids were laughing at this.”
