• MJF recently made a triumphant return to AEW at Double or Nothing, marking his first appearance since his loss to Samoa Joe at AEW Worlds End. In his return promo, he reassured fans that he isn’t going anywhere, hinting at a long-term commitment with All Elite Wrestling.
In an interview with Justin Barrasso of Sports Illustrated, MJF addressed the speculation about his contract status and the possibility of joining WWE when his previous contract expired.
“Of course there was,” MJF admitted when asked if a move to WWE was a real consideration. However, he chose not to delve into the specifics. “Am I going to get into the weeds? No. At this point in time, this move made the most sense for me. I’m making a ton of f**king money. As far as when the contract ends, that’s nobody’s business but my own.”
