Former WWF Champion Kane aka Glenn Jacobs last competed in a match in 2021, when he entered the Men’s Royal Rumble match that year.

After that appearance, he was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame during the WrestleMania 37 weekend.

During an interview with David Gornoskoski, Kane was asked if he’ll ever wrestle again.

Kane said he’s most likely retired from in-ring competition, but would be open to doing other things in WWE from time to time.

Here’s what The Big Red Machine said:

“I am probably not getting in the ring. I watch it now and I’m amazed at how athletic everybody is.

I don’t think my body can take that kind of punishment anymore, you know? We always say never say never. So I leave the door open to many different things.”

Kane’s last appearance on WWE programming was at SummerSlam 2022, where he announced the attendance.

In an interview with Bill Apter, Kane said the following about Sting retiring this Sunday at AEW Revolution:

“I just wanna tell [Sting] what a big fan I am of his, man. Hall of Famer, of course. I’m a Hall of Famer too.

Kane would have taken him eventually (if they fought)! Yeah, of course! I don’t know. Sting’s a tremendous, tremendous performer. One of the greatest ever.”
