• Former WWF Champion Wants Cody Rhodes To Win The 2023 Royal Rumble Match
On an episode of his weekly ‘The Kurt Angle Show’ podcast, our Olympic Hero stated that he wants none other than Cody Rhodes, son of the late great ‘The American Dream’ Dusty Rhodes, to win the upcoming Men’s Royal Rumble 2023 match.
Here’s what the former WWF Champion had to say about ‘The American Nightmare’:
“Oh, he was the first one I was going to pick. Cody Rhodes is the guy. I believe that they are probably going to do something at the Royal Rumble.
I think he will probably win the Rumble and go on to face Roman Reigns at WrestleMania. You know, he is not exactly a young guy, and he has won the World Title before (outside WWE). But he’d be the right person to do it.
I think the fans have gotten behind him, and he’s a big enough star right now to do that.”
Cody Rhodes first wrestled for WWE from 2007 until 2016 and later, after stints in IMPACT Wrestling (2016-2017) and Tony Khan’s All Elite Wrestling (2019-2022), returned at WrestleMania 38 as the mystery opponent for Seth Rollins.
