• Former WWF Wrestler & Official’s Death Confirmed

We are saddened to report that former WWF Wrestler & Official Rene Goulet has passed away at the age of 86. He actually passed away earlier this year on May 25th, but the news was made public now.

Below is what Cauliflower Alley Club posted about this:

“Sad news to pass along. We learned that Rene Goulet passed away back on May 25th of this year, but it wasn’t made public until this morning. Rene was a long tenured wrestler with the WWF/E, tag champ and road agent. The CAC offers our deepest sympathies to his family and friends.”

Most Old School WWF Fans who were watching during the early & mid 90s will certainly remember Rene Goulet as an official, after he retired from active in-ring competition in 1987.

He held a lot of titles in his 30 year career as a wrestler, including the WWWF World Tag Team Championship (with Karl Gotch).

R.I.P Rene Goulet
