We are saddened to announce that former WWF enhancement wrestler Rip Oliver has passed away at the age of 67.

While Oliver was a 12 time NWA Pacific Northwest Heavyweight Champion and 16 time NWA Pacific Northwest Tag Team Champion, he was mainly used as a jobber in the World Wrestling Federation.

He once faced The Ultimate Warrior for the Intercontinental Championship on Saturday Night’s Main Event under the name of “Super Ninja”.

His career lasted from 1975 to 1991.

He entered hospice care due to heart failure earlier this year, and passed away today.

Cauliflower Alley Club posted the following regarding this:

“Pacific Northwest legendary wrestler Rip Oliver went to be with the Lord today at 4 p.m (Eastern Standard Time). May the good Lord comfort his widow and three children, family & close friends. Rip is no longer suffering but we are deeply saddened by this news‬.”
