• Furloughed WWE Commentator Reportedly Returning Soon

WWE NXT & NXT UK Commentator Nigel McGuinness hasn’t been used on commentary since the start of the Coronavirus pandemic. Only Mauro Ranallo and Beth Phoenix had been calling the action on NXT.

The Wrestling Observer reported a couple of months ago that McGuinness was furloughed by WWE during the budget cuts in April.

PWInsider is now reporting that McGuinness is set to return to the company at some point. It could be within this month, as NXT UK is also returning on September 17th. He might also be used on NXT as Mauro Ranallo is gone from the company.
