• Gail Kim Claims Former AEW Names Agreed With Her Criticism Of Riho

Gail Kim drew heavy criticism from AEW fans after expressing her opinion about Riho on X. She said that the former AEW Women’s World Champion didn’t come across as “believable” in the ring and dressed like a “little girl.”

Speaking on Huge Pop! The Wrestling Show, the former WWE Women’s Champion elaborated on her comments and revealed that former AEW names agreed with her views.

“I was not, in any way, saying anything bad about her. I was talking about my discomfort in a segment that I had watched, probably when AEW started, because I don’t watch AEW currently,

I saw that one segment and I remember just feeling uncomfortable… Yes, she appeared to look very young, and then dressed, in that particular match, like a little girl, in my mind, and then when the cameraman – I think she was going up to the top rope – and I remember the cameraman shooting up her skirt, which, you know, happened a lot in my early wrestling days, where I had to go tell the cameraman or the production truck, ‘Hey! Stop shooting up my a$$.’

When I said she wasn’t believable in that match, it was just ‘cause I felt uncomfortable from the start, if you get my drift, in terms of – in this age of the child – you know, Jeffrey Epstein-era… I just felt really uncomfortable and then so, that’s what I meant by it and I actually had AEW – former people that worked there, say to me, ‘I agreed with you. I would be backstage and I felt the same way.’

I can’t judge what type of wrestler I think she is today, and I’ve admittedly said that I haven’t watched their product in a really long time so, I’m happy to watch the product again and give my opinion on that, so, I would just hope that people have open minds.”

• 2 AEW Stars Demand More TV Time From Tony Khan

The main event of the 6-Year Anniversary special episode of AEW Dynamite featured Darby Allin and AEW Women’s World Champion Kris Statlander vs. The Death Riders’ Wheeler Yuta and Marina Shafir in a Mixed Tornado Tag Team Match.

Allin and Statlander got the win after which the AEW Women’s World Champion got into a brawl with “Timeless” Toni Storm, while Allin was choked out by The Death Riders.

After the match, Queen Aminata took to X to ask AEW President Tony Khan to give her more promo time and book her in Mixed Tag Team Matches like the one that took place last night.

“I’m just gonna put this out there ( cough… cough …. Tk lol ): I need more promo time and I would love to be in these mixed tag matches”

Deonna Purrazzo replied to Aminata’s tweet, demanding the same opportunity.

She tweeted: “Sign me up too…”

Aminata recently appeared on Collision to help Jamie Hayter against Triangle Of Madness, while Purrazzo hasn’t appeared on AEW programming since her loss to Harley Cameron on the February 26 episode of Dynamite.

• Triple H Didn’t Like RAW Star’s Old Entrance Theme

RAW Superstar “Big” Bronson Reed used to come out to Guillotine by Death Grips when he was wrestling on the independent circuit. He misses the theme, but WWE won’t let him use it.

Speaking on AFL Today, The Vision member said that WWE Chief Content Officer Triple H isn’t a fan of the song.

“Those things are important. When you come out for your entrance, it sets the tone, so I always wanted something that was distinctive. I have that with WWE, it’s obviously a bigger scale and budget. They like to do their own in-house music, but I do miss my old music sometimes.

Well, the thing is, this is going to expose my boss, but he’s a good dude. I once showed Guillotine to Triple H and he was not a fan. I think maybe he didn’t listen to it in the right atmosphere. You know, listening to something on your phone and then hearing some crazy man start rambling.

I’m like, if you heard it in an arena with the bass and the treble and stuff, then you would understand it works. But yeah, he was not a fan of Guillotine.”
