• In the aftermath of WWE’s monumental WrestleMania 40, fans have been eagerly awaiting the release of the event’s documentary, which promises an immersive look into one of wrestling’s most historic shows. However, as the wait persists, recent reports suggest that Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson may be playing a pivotal role in the delay.

WrestleMania 40 was a spectacle like no other, breaking numerous company records and earning acclaim as one of the most unforgettable events in WWE history. Held over two electrifying nights at Lincoln Financial Field, the grandeur of WrestleMania drew an astounding 145,298 attendees from around the world, setting a new standard for sports entertainment on a global scale.

Initially, speculation surrounding the delay in the documentary’s release centered on the extensive amount of footage that WWE had to sift through and compile. However, as time passes without any updates on its debut, fans are left wondering about the true cause of the delay.

Recent reports from PWInsider shed light on a potential reason behind the prolonged wait. Within WWE circles, there is a growing belief that the documentary’s release hinges on obtaining final approval from none other than The Rock himself. As a pivotal figure in WWE’s history and a global icon in entertainment, The Rock’s involvement in the project adds a layer of complexity to the production process.

• On the March 30th episode of AEW Collision, Ricky Starks and Big Bill lost to Top Flight. Starks & Bill were originally scheduled to win, but Starks had an injury scare and the finish was changed on the fly.

Starks hasn’t appeared on AEW TV since then and was asked about his absence during an interview with Whatculture.

Here’s what the former AEW World Tag Team Champion said:

“I’m not hurt. Even that night (on AEW Collision), I specifically stated, hey, I’m not hurt. I was just being cautious about it because, at the moment, I didn’t know what was happening, especially with this side of my body.

So I wasn’t hurt. I was never put on an injury list or anything like that. I have no answers. People ask me all the time, ‘Well, why aren’t you…’ I don’t know. I have no clue. That isn’t up to me.

It does suck, obviously, to not be on TV, but the support in people online and people sending me messages is very, very sweet and endearing, and very encouraging, from that standpoint.”
