• General Adnan’s Family Denies Infamous Dog-Eating Story

WWE Hall of Famer Mr. Fuji was known for his extreme ribs on fellow wrestlers. Alongside being a successful wrestler, he managed top teams and stars like Demolition and Yokozuna.

While speaking about his pranks on their DEMOPOD podcast, Demolition told a story of Fuji feeding General Adnan his dog to avenge him repeatedly eating the sandwiches he cooked for himself for lunch.

Here’s what Smash said:

“The story I heard was Fuji used to bring a bag lunch with him… and Fuji could cook, so it was good sandwiches. Adnan did it again. He did it two or three times. Ate his lunch. So then Fuji says, ‘Okay, I’m going to fix this son of a gun.’

So he went over and got his dog and cooked his dog up. Adnan started eating the sandwich and… looked at him, he goes, ‘this is really delicious.’ He goes, ‘it’s your dog.’ And I heard Adnan threw up.”

However, Adnan’s family denied these claims with the following statement on X:

“Just to clear things up: the story about Mr. Fuji killing and cooking our father’s dog is a tall tale that got passed around the wrestling circle. Our father said flat-out Fuji never touched his dog and he had no idea how that rumor even started.”

• Bayley Returns With A New Character On RAW

On tonight’s RAW, Roxanne Perez defeated Lyra Valkyria. After the match, Roxanne and Raquel Rodriguez attacked Lyra, which led to Bayley making her return to save Lyra.

At first, it looked like Bayley to going to attack Lyra too, but her mood switched and ran out of the ring to hug everyone.

It looks like this is a crazy version of Bayley’s old hugger character.

• Tiffany Stratton Possibly Injured After Scary Landing On SmackDown

Tiffany Stratton put the WWE Women’s Championship on the line against Jade Cargill on the most recent episode of SmackDown. The match ended in a Double Count Out after which Nia Jax came out to attack the champion.

During the match, Stratton attempted to hit Cargill with a Moonsault outside of the ring. However, she landed badly when her opponent moved out of the way and her head appeared to hit the floor, raising concerns about a possible injury. Her legs also landed awkwardly, putting her knees and ankles at risk.

The Buff Barbie may be injured because she has been pulled from her match from tomorrow night’s NXT Homecoming at Full Sail University. She was supposed to team up with Rhea Ripley and Stephanie Vaquer against Fatal Influence in a 6-Woman Tag Team Match.

NXT General Manager Ava took to X to announce that the WWE Women’s Champion is not cleared to wrestle, and she will be replaced by Lyra Valkyria tomorrow night.

“After her WWE Women’s Championship Match on SmackDown, Tiffany Stratton is not medically cleared to compete at Homecoming. As a result, former NXT Women’s Champion Lyra Valkyria will be taking her place in the six-woman tag team match against Fatal Influence.”

The nature of Stratton’s injury is unknown yet. It is also possible that this is just a precautionary measure taken by WWE.

• Triple H Confirms Major New Step By WWE

The WWE Performance Center opened its door to talents in 2013. It has played a significant part in the development of many talents and was also the home of many WWE shows during the COVID-19 pandemic.

A new Performance Center is being built in Orlando, Florida, according to WWE Chief Content Officer Triple H. Below is what The Game said in an interview with Nightcap:

“We’ve tried to make the pathway. We recruit heavily in colleges. We have an NIL program, we call it Next In Line. We have NIL kids across the country that have an interest in WWE that are part of promoting us to all these events that they go to. And then we work with all those kids that have an interest in this, or maybe didn’t know they had an interest.

The NFL, it’s such a small percentage of folks that get in there. You can be the best of the best but then there’s this moment in time where you have… the slightest difference, and you’re not going to make it.

And this is a career choice for them where they come to Orlando, Florida, they see our facilities, they think, ‘Wow, this is like being in a D1 college, I have that level of professionalism, let me give this a shot.’

And it’s performance, so it’s athletic performance. So if they can make it work for them, then the sky’s the limit, just like any other sport.

It’s in Orlando. We’re in the process of building another one now in Orlando, it’ll be even bigger and better. Our main offices are in Connecticut and LA, but Orlando’s the developmental.”

• Jerry Lawler Reveals Why He Suffered His Latest Stroke

WWE Hall of Famer Jerry “The King” Lawler was set to make several convention and signing appearances, including a HorrorHound Weekend appearance, but pulled out of them, citing “personal issues.”

PWInsider initially reported that those issues were related to his health. TMZ broke the news on Thursday that the legendary commentator suffered a stroke last Friday at one of his homes in Florida. He was hospitalized, but is now in recovery.

FOX13 in Memphis revealed that Lawler is now resting at his home. The stroke he suffered was a minor one, but it affected his right side and vision.

During an interview with Valerie Calhoun of FOX13, Lawler revealed that he had skipped his medication in the days before suffering the stroke, which is the most likely cause.

Following the incident, the 75-year-old revealed that his vision has been affected and that, upon returning to his Memphis home from Florida, he initially didn’t even recognize his own house.

Here’s what The King said:

“I remember lying in the bed in the hospital and when people that I knew, like family members, came in and I didn’t even recognize them. People kept coming out of nowhere to thank me and to pray for me. All of that means such a great, great deal to me and I want to thank them for all that.”

• Andrade Breaks Silence After WWE Release

Andrade’s second run with WWE has come to an abrupt and controversial end. The former United States Champion, who rejoined the company at Royal Rumble 2024 and last competed in a TLC match at SummerSlam 2025, has now been moved to WWE’s alumni section, signaling his quiet departure.

Unlike other recent roster cuts, this decision was not framed as a cost-saving measure. Instead, WWE officials chose to release Andrade outright, a move that Jon Alba of Sports Illustrated has confirmed was tied to disciplinary matters.

The Takedown on SI reports that Andrade is believed to have faced at least one wellness policy violation during this WWE run. What triggered the violation has not been disclosed, and WWE’s rules allow for suspensions even if a wrestler fails to complete required testing.

Regardless of the specifics, Andrade was suspended without pay and, at one point, instructed to leave a SmackDown taping last month due to his wellness policy violation. Sources say he was escorted out of the building, an incident that disrupted creative plans for his partnership with Rey Fenix.

This wasn’t Andrade’s first strike under the policy. Back in 2020, WWE announced his initial violation, which led to a 30-day suspension. He eventually exited the company the following year and joined AEW.

Bodyslam previously reported that Andrade and WWE had been dealing with creative and booking differences since his return last year. It was also added that Andrade had been unreachable for several weeks leading up to the announcement of his departure.

Reacting to his WWE release, Andrade has nothing to say but thank you to WWE. He posted the following photo on Instagram with #wwe written in the post caption:
