Adam Pearce, now the General Manager of WWE Raw, is content with his role behind the scenes, despite fans’ hopes of seeing him return to the ring.

In a recent interview on Chaotic Good Sports, Pearce explained his lack of interest in resuming an active wrestling career.

“It’s funny because wrestling fans today, especially the WWE Universe, it’s like their jaws drop when I say that.

‘Why don’t you wrestle?’ I don’t want to,” Pearce said, noting that after 20 years in the ring, he’s had his share of memorable moments.

“I’ve had so many perfect days in the sun, I took so many bumps, and I had the time of my life for 20 years,” Pearce added, reflecting on his long career.

While he’s open to wrestling again if WWE calls on him, it’s not something he’s actively seeking.

“If the time comes and they say, ‘Hey, we need you to have a match,’ brother, I will get my hands dirty,” Pearce assured.

Despite invitations from Billy Corgan of the NWA and Nick Aldis’ comments on a potential match, Pearce isn’t planning a full-time return anytime soon.

For now, he’s focused on his role as a WWE executive, enjoying his current chapter in professional wrestling.
