6. Update on Samoa Joe’s Main Roster Debut Status
As seen at NXT Takeover: Toronto, Samoa Joe defeated Shinsuke Nakamura to capture the NXT Championship and become the first ever two time NXT Champion.
People were expecting Joe to lose that match (so that he could come up to the main roster), but Joe ended up and it doesn’t look like Joe would be making his main roster debut anytime soon.
However plans could change as Joe is scheduled to defend the NXT Title against Nakamura in Osaka, Japan on December 3rd and it could be possible that WWE books Nakamura to win the Title back in his home country, thus opening the door for Joe’s main roster debut.
